LaTierra Piphus 

LaTierra is the STEM Coalitions Coordinator for the Mayor’s Office of Education. She manages membership engagement, mentorship recruitment, and communications for the STEMcityPHL website and social media. LaTierra attended the University of Wisconsin, where she majored in Communications with a minor in Women, Gender & Sexuality studies. She also holds certificates in Community Based Learning and Media Literacy. Her commitment to social justice and empowering marginalized populations through grassroots activism, writing, and serving non-profits “who do good work” is her primary goal at this point in her journey.
