I've started populating the social media pages for Free in Philly—free resources and programs for families on Philadelphia. I'd like to get the website up and running so families can search by location, interest, or by calendar. I purchased a Wordpress template, but would like to learn how to streamline the data, particularly for recurring events, add a calendar feature and just make sure I'm not compromising (screwing up) the template. It's just me, searching the web for resources. No budget. In the future, I'd love to add a digital literacy component where students/families use the resources to find a passion and create portfolios to share their experiences with the world.
